01/05/09 (Saturday): HAPPY LABOUR DAY! :) Since today's a holiday, all of us are "taking a break from work" and thus today's post will be about our thoughts and reflections on the learning session we previously had in school! (Click here for post :D)

Charmaine says:
"It was really interesting! I had my favourite Spongebob Squarepants drawn on my hand and that really made my day. It was also my first session with the class as I couldn't make it for the previous ones due to CCA, but this session was really good as I got to use the Henna tube for the first time in my life. Henna seems easy to do, but it's really difficult to control the tube! I had alot of fun with the class that day, I can't wait for the next learning session!"
Linghui says:
"It was very enriching because it's the first time in my life that I'm doing Henna. It looks very easy but when I actually do it, it's not very easy to control."
Daphne says:
"Henna seems easy but it's actually a difficult skill to master. Frequent practice and learning sessions allowed me to improve my skills and get in touch with Indian culture. These sessions made me realise that though the cost of Henna is low, the skill of Henna art is hard to master. But all in all, Henna is fun! ;)"
Adeline says:
"Very very cool because many people came up with creative templates! :)"
Hewei says:
"The Henna session in school was exhilarating. Not only did we have fun learning the interesting traditional designs, such as the elaborate floral patterns, we had a good time doing up some fun designs like Spongebob Squarepants as well. What truly made the session fun was the entire process, when everyone was keen to handle the Henna tubes and the ugly yet hilarious designs drawn when someone screwed the designs up. I'm already looking forward to the next!"
Douglas says:
"It was really effective. And I'm proud that we're going on schedule and everyone is starting to master the basics of Henna already. :)"
Xiaojia says:
"I felt that it was perfectly useful and entertaining :) It gave us a chance to tryout on each other and learn how to use the Henna tubes!"
Grace says:
"It was an interesting experience and it's actually quite fun to play with Henna, although it can be quite difficult to control the tube. But as the saying goes, 'Practice makes perfect'! I'm looking forward to the next learning session :D"
Yes, that day in school was truly an enriching learning experience for the team and we all look forward to our next Henna session, so we hope you do too! Stay tuned for more updates, and Happy Labour Day! :)
