Welcome to SAJC 09A01's Learning Festival blog!We're a group of 15 people from 09A01 who are in charge of teaching you how to create beautiful henna patterns on your hands on Learning Festival!
Feel free to browse through our entries which contain pictures and videos of our learning process. Also, we will provide you with more information about our Learning Festival project at this blog as well!

31/03/09 (Tuesday): A group of us went to Little India after school to purchase materials for our Learning Festival project: Henna Design!
We took a train to Little India and we got lost initially because we didn't know the way to the Little India Arcade (the place where we could get our materials). But we managed to get directions from some friendly people and so we started off on our journey. 
We walked...
And walked...
Saw some cute schoolchildren on a class excursion along the way...
Walked even more...
Finally! :)
The ground floor was filled with stores that sold materials for designing henna, so it didn't take us very long to find a shop with a friendly shop owner who gave us a discount for the materials we bought! :) One of our group members, Xiaojia, even got the shop owner to personally design henna on her arm as well!

The team with the shop owner! We've gotten our necessary materials, and next up would be our process of learning how to use the henna tube, stencils and our own imagination to design our very own henna! So stay tuned! :)
